Create the first tenant and place a call

Build a minimal tenant, assign extensions and prove the complete internal call path.

01

Create the tenant

Choose a stable SIP domain, timezone and service plan. Custom identification fields can be added now and reused in reports and integrations.

  • Assign a tenant administrator instead of sharing the platform-owner account.
  • Choose the class of service and enabled feature-code catalog.
  • Set emergency location policy before enabling unrestricted outbound calling.
02

Create users and extensions

A portal user and a SIP extension are separate objects. One user may own several extensions, while a device-only extension does not require portal access.

  • Set internal and outbound display name and number.
  • Use generated SIP credentials and reveal them only during provisioning.
  • Enable voicemail, fax assignment or personal call handling only when required.
03

Verify the call

Call from the first extension to the second, answer, speak in both directions and hang up from each side in separate tests. Calls & Reports should show one logical conversation with two channel legs.
